Terms of Service

Last updated October 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of genaiprotos.com (the "Website") and any enquiry you submit through it. GenAI Protos is operated by The 7X Ventures LLC ("GenAI Protos", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Website on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Paid services are governed by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal, statement of work or master services agreement (an "Engagement Agreement"). Where an Engagement Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Engagement Agreement applies.

2. Our Services

GenAI Protos provides AI engineering services, including:

Service descriptions, examples, case studies and frequently asked questions on the Website are for general information only. They do not form an offer, quotation or commitment to deliver any particular result, timeline or price.

The scope, deliverables, evaluation criteria, milestones, price and handover for any engagement are confirmed only in an Engagement Agreement.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Website to learn about our services and contact us. You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers or connected systems.
  • Interfere with the Website's operation, including by introducing malware or overloading it.
  • Scrape, copy or reuse Website content at scale without our written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading or infringing information through any form.

Enquiries and the contact form

When you submit an enquiry, you agree to provide accurate details. Please do not share confidential, sensitive or personal data about others in the form. We use your details to respond to your enquiry as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can also email us at contact@genaiprotos.com. Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship or any obligation for either party.

4. Client Engagements

Scope and agreement

Each engagement begins with an agreed scope. The Engagement Agreement sets out the question to answer, deliverables, evaluation criteria, milestones, price and handover arrangements. Work starts only after both parties accept it.

Changes

Changes to scope, required skills, cost or delivery dates are discussed and agreed in writing before additional work proceeds.

Third-party and infrastructure costs

Unless the Engagement Agreement states otherwise, model usage, API fees, cloud resources, compute, hosting, hardware, platform subscriptions, licences and any on-site work are identified separately and are not included in our fees.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing the inputs, data, system access and feedback agreed in scope, and for confirming that you have the right to share them with us. Delays in these inputs may affect milestones.

Payment

Fees, invoicing and payment terms are set out in the Engagement Agreement.

5. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

Website content

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, illustrations and design, belongs to GenAI Protos or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify or republish it commercially without our written permission.

Deliverables

Ownership and licensing of deliverables, such as code, prototypes, configurations, datasets, model weights, adapters, reports and documentation, are defined in the Engagement Agreement.

Our pre-existing tools

GenAI Protos retains ownership of its in-house accelerators, frameworks, reusable components and know-how developed before or outside an engagement. Where these are used in a deliverable, your rights to use them are set out in the Engagement Agreement.

Your data

You retain ownership of the data, documents and materials you provide. We use them only to deliver the agreed engagement. Data access, handling requirements, storage location and the processing environment are agreed before we use your data.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information shared during an engagement. Detailed confidentiality obligations are set out in the Engagement Agreement or a separate non-disclosure agreement.

6. AI-Specific Terms

Nature of AI outputs

AI systems can produce outputs that are inaccurate, incomplete, biased or inconsistent. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, especially for decisions with legal, financial, medical or safety impact.

Prototypes, experiments and MVPs

Prototypes, proofs of concept and R&D experiments are built to answer a defined question. They are not production systems unless the Engagement Agreement says so. Findings apply to the test conditions, inputs and environment documented in our reports. An experiment may show that an approach is unsuitable; that is a valid outcome.

Fine-tuning and models

Fine-tuning and model evaluation results depend on the selected model, training data and evaluation set. Improvements measured against a baseline may not hold for different inputs. What we can transfer, such as model weights or adapters, depends on the platform and the applicable model licence.

Private and sovereign deployments

Private AI work tests a scoped prototype against an agreed data boundary. Our findings record what was verified and any exceptions. They do not replace your own security, governance, compliance or legal review before a wider deployment.

No guaranteed results

We do not guarantee any specific accuracy, performance, cost saving or business outcome unless expressly committed in the Engagement Agreement.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Our work may use third-party models, platforms, cloud providers and open-source software. Each is subject to its own licence and terms, which you may need to accept directly. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, pricing changes or terms of third-party services.

The Website may link to third-party websites. These links are for convenience only; we do not control or endorse their content.

References to technology partners or platforms describe the tools we work with. They do not imply that a partner endorses a specific engagement or outcome.

8. Disclaimers and Liability

Website provided "as is"

The Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Website's accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Case studies and examples describe specific projects and may not reflect results for your use case.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, GenAI Protos is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website, including lost profits, data or business opportunities. Liability for paid services is governed by the Engagement Agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify GenAI Protos against claims arising from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.

9. General Terms

Suspension of access

We may suspend or restrict access to the Website if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached. Termination of paid engagements is governed by the Engagement Agreement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed]. Disputes will be handled by the courts of [venue to be confirmed], unless an Engagement Agreement provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
